MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The Details
- The Hammond Golf Club, Inc. is a corporation which requires anyone buying a membership to own a shareholder’s certificate and is subject to the by-laws of the corporation. A “certificate” is $100 and can be paid off over 4 years.
- The Board of Directors may terminate the membership of any person who shall fail to pay his liabilities to the corporation, or shall willfully violate the by-laws or rules and regulations of the corporation. Delinquent members will not be permitted to play during the current season even if daily fees were paid. No credit will be given for green fees paid until membership is paid in full.
- Student membership: is available only for those who are full-time students during the 2022-2023 school year and have not reached their 26th birthday. Pre-College and College Student members will be paid in full at the time the membership is initiated and do not need to buy a shareholders certificate.
- Introductory membership: are exempt from buying a shareholder’s certificate until they reach the age of 26. They do have the options of buying a shareholder’s certificate, which would give them voting rights at the annual meeting and the ability to be on the board. (Proof of age required)
- Intermediate membership: are required to buy a shareholder’s certificate. (Proof of age required)
- Couples membership: is restricted to those residing in the same domicile.
- Golf Car Season - Single (1/2 cart): anyone riding with you is required to pay the club house the ½ cart rate.
- Golf Car Season - Double: anyone riding with you is not required to pay the ½ cart rate.
- Trail Fee: this is for individual who own their own carts and want to use them on our course. Anyone riding with you is not required to pay the ½ cart rate.
- Members Cards: will be issued to each member and are required to be presented in the Pro Shop for each round of golf and for getting discounted range balls.
- Memberships paid before Dec 31, 2022 must be paid in full to receive the discounted rate.
- If paying in two installments, second half payment is due by June 30, 2023.
Membership includes:
- Complementary “Buddy Pass” (round of golf) per person. A Couple’s membership will get 4 passes. A round is either 9 or 18 holes, can’t be split into two 9 hole rounds. (Includes cart.)
- Discounted Range Balls (Member $3.00 per bag/bucket)
- Discounted Daily Cart Rentals: (price $7.00 – 9 holes & $10.00 for 18 holes)
- Discounted rates for use of clubhouse for social events.
